Privacy Policy
Angry Chess is a single-player game. There are no accounts, no ads, and no in-app purchases, and we don't sell or share personal data with anyone.
What stays on your device
The game saves a few small settings in your browser's or app's local storage so it remembers you between games:
- your rating against the computer,
- your chosen board theme,
- whether you've already seen the tutorial and the guided first shot.
This never leaves your device. Clearing your browser data or deleting the app removes it.
Visit counts
We count visits and game starts with GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service. It uses no cookies, doesn't track you across sites, and doesn't store personal data — we only see totals such as how many games were started.
Services that see your connection
Like any website, the services that deliver Angry Chess receive your IP address and browser details to serve the page:
- Google Cloud / Firebase Hosting, which hosts angrychess.com,
- Google Fonts, which serves the game's typefaces.
They handle this under their own privacy policies; we don't receive or keep it.
Children
Angry Chess collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
